  Practice Assurance aims to provide you with a framework of quality assurance principles to help you assess and develop your practice

• Regulated areas

  Three areas of work are regulated by statute: audit, insolvency and investment business. These areas of accountancy work are often referred to as 'regulated areas' or 'reserved areas' because they are restricted to appropriately qualified individuals who have been authorised or licensed to undertake the work by a body such as the ICAEW.
