Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants
Activities and contacts
The IOMSCA is a constituent body of the ICAEW and is part of the network of district societies throughout the British Isles providing local representation and promoting the interests of members of the Insititute in the Isle of Man.
The services offered by the members span a broad spectrum, consistent with the wide range of business services offered by the Island as a whole. These include personal/corporate taxation, advisory services, audit, accountancy, trust management, insolvency, corporate advisory and consultancy.
The Society's activities include the promotion and enhancement of the members interests and involve a close liaison with the Island's government and the Financial Supervision Commission. In this the Society seeks to ensure that the Island continues to be a safe and well regulated offshore centre, offering high standards of service.
The Society also seeks to enhance and maintain the professional development of its members by promoting and organising seminars covering a wide range of topics, and engaging high calibre lecturers.
In addition the Society maintains special interest groups for both members in business and those engaged in general practice.
